Christmas Party

Well this year’s party will be beyond our wildest dreams. God is so awesome!

The StreetLight Christmas Party provides a wonderful way for people to celebrate the birth of our Lord and have a good time. For most this will be the only celebration they will have. We expect more than over 500 guests for our sit down dinner where we provide both entertainment and presents.

With 16 days to go before this year’s Christmas Party we had to find a new location. As always God’s love for those in need is overwhelming. He has provided an absolutely incredible place for our party, the  Winfield Scott Ballrooms. When we toured the property I was in awe, I had no idea this wonderful facility existed around the corner from the Mission.

We need your help to make this happen.

Amazingly we are still operating within our initial budget. We need to raise $100 per table to put on this event. We are looking for sponsors to cover the cost of each of the 64 tables we will need to accommodate more than 500 guests. Would you consider providing 8 to 10 people with a wonderful Christmas dinner? Your name, as you would like it to read, will go on the table card wishing your guests a very Merry Christmas. If you would like to donate just put Christmas Party in the notes and  click here. Be sure you also include how you would like your name to appear on the table card in the notes. Remember you can do it in honor or memory of someone you love.

We also need volunteers to serve as hosts/hostess, waiters/waitresses, bus boys/girls, kitchen staff, chefs, photographers, videographers, greeters and lots of other jobs. To make things easier this year we will do the volunteer training from 1:30 to 2:30 the day of the party, Sunday December 20th. There are a limited number of volunteer spots so sign up early. We will confirm your spot via email. If you would like to volunteer write Christmas Party and note how you want to help (host, greeter, waiter, etc)  click here.
